Piers has a book out on Amazon and is currently recording a documentary as an extension of his work with boarding school survivors. He talks to us about the ABCD of boarding school syndrome, abandonment, bereavement (homesickness), captivity (not being able to go anywhere) and dissociation. We talk about hazing or initiation practices in boarding schools and sexual abuse. How has England as a historical empire been responsible for this and how has going to boarding school affected our world’s political leaders and there empathy and decision-making.
